Tirelo is caught up in a conundrum. The voices, visions and nightmares are worsening. The stain of their presence growing. Fear and paranoia threatens a mental, emotional and physical paralysis. I withdraw into myself. I begin residing in gloom, melancholy and despair. I hate everything that I used to love.
I find no joy in laughter, telling jokes, dancing or even singing. the exuberant extrovert I know myself to be is nowhere in sight. I am not how I know myself to be. The will to live is gradually spiraling down into the abyss. I am trapped – a prisoner of my religion and culture. I have seen how people with a calling to thwasa or prophecy never intended to be one of those people….
